Born in Dusseldorf in 1882. Son of the painter Fritz N. (born 1852). Studied art in Dusseldorf, Karlsruhe and Munich, pupil of prof. Zugel. Lived and worked in Munich and Hamburg. He visited Aegean Macedonia around 1911, where he painted at least one oil on canvas painting entitled: “Paysanne Macedonienne “sold by auction house Cuvreau Louis (S.V.V.) , Saint-Paul-lès-Dax France on 24 Jun 2007, lot 54.
