Born in Paris, died in Ennery (Val’d Oise) French / Parisian modernist who studied art at the French National School of Art as well as in the studios of Paul Colin, Charles Leandre and Lucien Simon in the 1930s. Her paintings can be found in French National Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Grenoble, Museum de Lavat and many more.
Beleys visited Macedonia in the late 1950s and early 1960, where she painted at least the following paintings: “St. Jovan Church in Ohrid” (sold via auction house Blanchet & Joron-Derem, Paris on 10-05-2001), and “House in Macedonia” (listed in the catalogue raisonne of this painter)
