Born in Švábenice in 14.07.1887, died in Vyškov in 1963. Graduated in 1913 at the Prague Art Academy in the class of H. Schwaiger and M. Pirner. He made a study trip to Italy in 1914. In the First World War he served his army duty in Russia. After the war traveled to Japan (1919), Poland (1933) and the Balkan region (1936). He painted figurative compositions, landscapes and folk scenes. Worked as as book illustrator.
Petr Pistelka visited Macedonia in 1940 where he produced the lithography “Skopje Market Scene”.
